Why We Meditate
Meditation can do a great deal of good and simultaneously prevent unnecessary challenges.
We Meditate Because…
- It helps us cultivate advanced self-awareness to:
- … be more effective in therapy.
- … become aware of how we feel before we react.
- … learn which activities which cause chronic pain or burnout flare-ups.
- … become more resilient mentally and heal faster from burnout, for example, the more we practice meditation.
When We Do Not Meditate We May…
- … have less energy to fill our responsibilities and therefore less time to do things which bring us joy.
- … spend more on therapy than necessary.
- … sabotage important relationships more often.
- … repeat preventable causes which exacerbate our chronic pain or burnout risks over and over.
- … solidify bad habits during a period of our lives where we are still impressionable adults.
